The Nu Plasma HR and Nu Plasma 1700™ plasma source multicollector mass spectrometers are large dispersion high resolution multi-collector ICP-MS. Uniquely for a MC-ICP-MS, the large geometry enables resolutions of >5000 (10% valley) while maintaining peak flats for the ultimate in precise and accurate simultaneous isotopic measurements. Furthermore, each Faraday and ion counting multiplier detector has its own variable high resolution slit system, allowing different resolution settings on individual detectors. This unique feature gives the Nu Plasma 1700™ capabilities that cannot be matched by other MC-ICP-MS instruments.
